Ana Hojbota is a Consular Assistant – Research & Web Content at the Honorary Consul of Romania to CT. Ana has a background in Psychology, with research and practical experience in the areas of educational psychology, psychology of creativity, moral and political behavior. She worked both in academic setting, on research and teaching assistant positions, and in private companies, on roles with a focus on survey research, data collection, data analysis, project management and consulting. She had experience in the implementation of a variety of studies for government, academic or NGO clients, on topics related to public opinion, social psychology or market research. As a consular assistant, Ana is in charge of revising the content of the Consular website with information and statistics about Romania, researching business information requested by Romanian organizations wishing to expand on the US market, writing grant proposals, event planning and other projects promoting Romania.
