Julia Todeasa is a Consular Assistant in Translations, Apostilles, and Human Services for the Honorary Consulate of Romania to Connecticut since May 2022. Julia is currently a student at the University of Connecticut pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Applied Mathematical Sciences, and Literary Translation. With the Honorary Consulate, she provides assistance and guidance with English-Romanian-Spanish translations for various requests received from the community as well as for select projects of interest to the Honorary Consulate, such as "Afar - Journal of Migration Studies". She also assists with conducting research in pursuit of the initiatives of the Honorary Consulate such as the “Connecticut for Ukraine” Refugee Matching Program, coordinating events, and contributing in other miscellaneous forms as needed in support of the advancement of the missions of the Honorary Consulate.
