Together with Federation of Romanian-American Organizations - FORA, RUF (Romanian United Fund) applied for financing at the Romanian Government's Department for Romanians Abroad. The project, called "The solidarity monitor of the Romanians living in the US" ("Monitorul Solidaritatii Romaniilor din USA"), is the first of its kind to be launched in the US, according to its promoters. After the project was approved for financing, the organizers are asking Romanians to fill in a questionnaire for this purpose.
Completing the questionnaire automatically includes respondents in a contest, offering them the chance to win a an iPad through a random draw. The more people in a family who fill in the questionnaire, the better chances of winning the iPad. The winner will be announced at the end of November.
