Please join Giovanna Spiotti, a third-year Musical Composition student at the University of Hartford for an evening of Romanian Folk Song where Giovanna and her colleagues will perform her original compositions inspired by the Romanian folk tradition: Tuesday, April 4 at 7:30 pm at the Berkman Recital Hall at the University of Hartford.  Admission is free and open to the public.
Giovanna Spiotti honors her Romanian ancestry by dedicating her scholarship award from the Women's Advancement Initiative's Dorothy Goodwin Scholar Program to the study of Romanian folklore and to composing original musical pieces inspired by it.
