The Honorary Consulate of Romania to Connecticut, in collaboration with IRIS - Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services - Connecticut and Murtha Cullina is inviting all Ukranians in Connecticut and their allies to celebrate Ukrainian Independence Day. The event will take place on August 29th 2023 at 5 pm at the Ukrainian National Home of Hartford.

At the celebration we will have guest and community speakers such as Ukrainian refugees, politicians, diplomats, representatives of IRIS and Connecticut for Ukraine Refugee Matching Program, Maidan United, Moya Ukraine, Ukrainian American Youth Association of Hartford, and allied Romanian and Polish Community Representatives. We will also have an artistic program with food and drinks. Donations not required but suggested to any of the nonprofits on site.
