The Honorary Consulate is inviting the members of the Romanian-American community in Connecticut and its friends to attend the National Day of Romania on December 6, 2023 from 4-8 pm at the CT State Community College - Capital in Hartford, CT, organized by the Honorary Consulate of Romania to CT.  

At the event, guests can enjoy:

·         Networking reception with business, political, and community leaders

·         Traditional Romanian food & desserts

·         International award-winning Romanian wines

·         Romanian books in English translation for sale

·         Fine arts exhibits by Romanian artists, including an exhibit of Romanian high-value violins

·         Artistic performance program featuring musical performances of Romanian works

·         “Get to know Romania” tourism exhibit table

·         Several other exhibits of Romanian art, crafts, and traditions


Additionally, part of the proceeds from book sales at the event will benefit our Ukrainian friends and allies, a cause that our community has supported via the Connecticut for Ukraine Refugee Matching Program.
