The World Affairs Council of Connecticut, where Honorary Consul Dana Bucin serves as a member of its Board of Directors, celebrated its Centennial on April 19 at Goodwin University over a sensational program featuring awards and keynote by William J. Burns, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), moderated by renowned journalist Norah O'Donnell, anchor and managing editor of CBS Evening News with Norah O'Donnell.
The Council honored Chairmen Peter G. Kelly; Paul W. Bucha, Medal of Honor Recipient; and all past Presidents of the World Affairs Council of Connecticut.
Honorary Consul Bucin attended with a group from our CT Romanian community interested in world affairs, including Professor Antoaneta Vanc, Ana Hojbotă, Cristian Gogu, and Asim Etem of A Villa Louisa who was among the official caterers for the event providing delicious Romanian food.
