The Honorary Consulate encourages all youth in Connecticut to apply to this year's edition of the Romanian-American National Heritage Award.

The Romanian American National Heritage Award (RANHA) is brought in 2024 by the: American Romanian, Cultural Society, RUF - Romanian United Foundation, Romanians of DC, ROCO Chicago, the Romanian Community Center, Consulate General of Romania in New York, The Romanian Community Center RoAmPro, Federation of Romanian-American Organizations - FORA, Românul - SUA and Alianta, with the endorsement of the Ambasada României în Statele Unite ale Americii / Romanian Embassy to US.

The award offers young Romanian-Americans the chance to showcase their leadership and dedication to preserving Romanian culture, setting them apart in the college admissions process.
