The Honorary Consulate of Romania in Connecticut announces its participation to the “Alianta” Gala, that will take place this year on November 18th and 19th at Mayflower Hotel, in Washington, DC. “Alianta” is a national organization of Americans, US companies and institutions working to strengthen cultural, economic, and security ties between the United States of America and Romania.
The Honorary Consul Dana Bucin will participate in the annual Gala, together with Mihaela Ungureanu, the Director of Commercial Relations at the Honorary Consulate of Romania to Connecticut, and other members of our Romanian-American community. The event is aiming to honor outstanding contributions aimed at strengthening the Romanian-American business relations, security and cultural exchanges, or initiatives involving community projects in the US.
By attending the Gala, members of the diaspora will meet this year’s honorees: Sabrina Ionescu, professional basketball player in the WNBA, the Bidefender founders and owners Florin and Mariuca Talpes and US Rep. Mike Turner. The event is also an excellent opportunity for networking and promoting businesses among Romanian and American entrepreneurs, and also meet diplomats, political representatives and community leaders that are actively involved in furthering the US-Romanian relationship.
